After retiring as a school principal, I became my mother's full-time caregiver following her Alzheimer's diagnosis. Like most family caregivers, I felt completely overwhelmed and had no idea where to turn for help.
Through my journey, I discovered that there are thousands of resources, programs, and services available to caregivers—but most families never know they exist. I spent countless hours researching, calling agencies, and piecing together information that should have been readily available.
That's why I created Thrive as a Caregiver. My mission is to share everything I've learned so other caregivers don't have to struggle alone. Whether you're just starting out or have been caregiving for years, I'm here to help you find the support, resources, and community you need to not just survive—but thrive.
